Of course, you will enjoy all attributes of a megapolis too: fashionable restaurants, stylish night clubs, noisy bars, theatres, malls, crowds of people and streams of cars, cosy streets and crowded squares, metro, neon lights, etc. Kiev’s modern centers with surviving parts of the old city are on the hilly west, or right bank, of the Dnieper River. From the north end of Khreshchatik, Hrushevskoho Street rises southeast along a ridge to the Caves Monastery at Perchersk. Woods and parks cover most of the steep right-bank slopes. Everyone visiting during the summer will notice the abundance of parks in Kiev, making it one of the ‘greenest’ cities all over the Europe. Its beautiful landscapes, parks and gardens charm and captivate. The citizens of the city adore this street, and the guests of Kiev try to visit it and feel its charming atmosphere before exploring the rest of the city.
